Shemot Senior & Youth Writers Club--Bridging The Gap Through The Classics Retreat

The Senior & Youth Writer's Club is an 18th century literary project which brings together seniors with youth and/or young adult writers interested in collaborating on works in the genre of such classics as Charles Dickens, Jane Austen, Mark Twain, C.S. Lewis, Samuel Ricardson, and J.R. Tolkien. Our goal for 2026 is to develop 18th century works with a twist of 21st century that brings back the language, the manners, and the elegance of Great Britain through creating great works that may be fit for the stage, and/or theatre. We invite writers to participate online, as well as in person, here in New Mexico. Come join us for a bit of art, culture and fun, as we embark on our March 2026 Writer's Cruise Retreat! (See more on the Shemot Senior &Youth tab above for more info about donating to this worthy cause)
