WELCOME!

Shemot Psychosocial Interventions also known as Shemot Psychosocial Interventions For Youth & Families is a Faith-Based Anti Trafficking and Abuse program for youth and parents, providing a wide variety of programs with a focus on our Strengthening Families Program For Parents and Youth.

The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is an evidence-based family skills training program for high-risk and general population families that is recognized both nationally and internationally. Parents and youth attend weekly SFP skills classes together, learning parenting skills and youth life and refusal skills. We have separate class training for parents and youth the first hour, followed by a joint family practice session the second hour. The third hour is a focus on a recreational activity between parents, the referred youth, and all siblings and youth within the household.

Shemot Psychosocial Inteventions For Youth & Families also provides a year round After School Vacation Bible School For Self Referral families wanting that educational experience for their families. Self Referrals are charged a small fee for weekly food and supplies. Outings and trips are apart of the After School Vacation Bible School program and mandatory for graduating the program. However, graduation is not mandatory, as parents can send their children for after school care during weekly program hours.
